Episode Summary: "Pleasure & Fulfillment" (S3, E3)
I share a recent moment at work that opened a deeper talk with my spirit guides about how I spend my time—especially the difference between pleasure and true fulfillment. I reflect on my 20s (lots of video games and social rides), how Catholic conditioning once made me judge pleasure, and why enjoyment itself isn’t “sinful”—overindulgence is. I break down wants vs. needs across the three areas of life (personal, business, social), and how aligning my intellect (the steering wheel) with my feeling/intuition (the gas) keeps me in balance. The big practice is choosing activities that I enjoy and that also nourish my soul, dialing back escapes, and letting guidance handle the “how” while I take the next step. Bottom line: I want what I need spiritually—so I can live from a full cup, be of service, and enjoy the process without beating myself up. When I drift, I come back home to purpose.

I talk about following inner guidance (and knowing when to lead or follow), avoiding escapes, and using simple fundamentals to keep momentum. Big picture: Earth is a school, growth is the goal, and what we truly carry forward is the wisdom and inner freedom we build upon along the way.

I talk about cycles—especially the formative first seven years of life—and how early influences from parents and environment can shape our habits, patterns, and inner critic. I open up about how I’ve recognized subtle ways I still look for outer authority and how important it is to lead myself instead. Self-government is about taking charge of my energy, setting my own policies and procedures, and discerning what truly belongs to me versus what I’ve picked up from others. Through patience, awareness, and practice, I’m learning to govern myself with clarity, fun, and fulfillment—living from the inside out so I can navigate life with greater ease, freedom, and joy.
